Back on the balcony

Postby Diflower » 03 Oct 2015, 22:11

So lovely, all I really wanted was to feel warm, but we're definitely having much better than that.
It's been blazing hot, 28-30 degrees until today, which has still been lovely but kind of thick hazy sun, not real cloud and still 23 degrees :)
Tonight we've been out to one of our locals ;) Bb had a very light sort of lamb stew, I had a pizza - and Vic we shared a jug (litre) of rather nice red wine for 7 euros ;)
They had a poster up saying karaoke which we were a bit wary about but was actually a guy singing - very well - with the invitation that anyone else could get up and sing if they wanted...thankfully not many did :)

And I was very chuffed to find that my French is still good enough to help out a typical French sparrow and her mother with the menu :)

Tomorrow's meant to be cloudy, which is good as we're planning on walking into Vilamoura.

Sounds idyllic, Di. It's so cold here we've had the central heating on all evening .... :D

So pleased you're having such a great time and such a shame we couldn't join you.

There may be some wet stuff on it's way overnight tonight and a little tomorrow, but not enough to ruin a holiday.
