Good morning Saturday

Postby Ally » 03 Oct 2015, 05:56

Good morning. :D

Looks nice out there again. :D

No Mr Martin today as David is picking me up at 10am. We're off climbing from Pinos de Alhaurin to Sierra Mijas...a nice round trip of 30kms. :D :D :D :D

I should think I'll be watching SCD tonight zonked on the sofa. :D :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally :D

Enjoy your climb today and definitely enjoy the deserved zonk on the sofa tonight ;-)

I've got friends coming round for lunch today; making melanzane parmigiana - I've never made it before but always wanted to and given they prefer a vegetarian diet I figured it was the pefect excuse. To be served with baguette, green salad and rice on the side if people want. Also making an aubergine, chilli and mascarpone cheese dish, just in case. Both are freezable so whatever is left over I can use for work lunches.

So about to have a five minute cuddle on the sofa with Ava and then off to clean and then cook - need to collect them from the station at midday

have a lovely day all

Kaz, hope J is doing OK?
Shell, hope you all had a much better night sleep last night being back at home?
Jan, how are you and Grumpy feeling?

Morning Ally, Ria and everyone

We have cloud  this morning, lots of it. But it's still warm, so the holidaymakers over in the west should still be okay :D

Enjoy your hike Ally, a flat yomp, I could probably do, but not too many hills ;)

Sounds a lovely menu Ria, although not an aubergine lover.

The heads are clearer, thanks Ria, but still coughing, sneezing and spluttering away    And had such a rubbish nights sleep too, I need matchsticks this morning

Will get the washing machine going when himself surfaces, I took him coffee in bed, as we're not doing a lot again today.

Hope your sister has a comfy night Kaz and will get home soon :D

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

Bit misty here, hope it brightens as the day goes on.

Had a lovely evening with the coffee ladies last night. There were only about 16 of us which was quite a nice change, when it's very crowded it's hard to move around and meet everyone. Had a lovely chat with people I've seen but not actually talked to before.

We'll be popping out to our surgery later this morning, it's flu jab time  The rest of the day it's house stuff and washing and I need to sort mother's winter clothes ready to take with us tomorrow.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Aw thanks for asking about Julie, I've not spoken to P yet today, but as of last night she was doing really well :D I'll be speaking to him later this morning, and hopefully she'll be home either today or tomorrow! :D

B is working today, Mick and I are popping into town for a few bits and pieces and then some lunch, and tonight we are out for a meal with D and the inlaws, who are up for the weekend. Not sure how that will go, might post about it all later on a closed board ;)

Have a good day everyone, love and hugs for any who might need one ((((x))))

Good morning everyone.

It's dull but dry here now, but rain is forecast for later on.

Not much planned for today, but we usually find something that needs doing.

Hope you all have a lovely day.

Morning all, dull but dry here. No special plans for the day, might do some work on my family tree, I'm also knitting one of those snood things at the moment, plus I have a good book on the go...oh yes, I will pop to the library too. Glad to hear J is doing ok Kaz, and I hope Shell and her family have felt the benefit of a night's sleep in their own beds. Have a good day everyone :)

((((((Saundra)))))) Get well soon - it sounds as though you'll be nice and cosy though with your book and your whisky xxxxxxx

Well my sister is not only home, but she got home late last night! All was well so they saw no need to keep her another night - Paul said she got paroled for bad behaviour!

When I rang again just now she was asleep, so I've not spoken to her yet but she's going to give me a call when she feels up to talking. I am just sooooo blooming relieved!!! Thank you all for the kind words and support :D :D :D

Shell, I hope Luke is doing well today and I'll bet it was nice to be back in your own bed! xxxxx

We've had 'one of those' mornings! First of all the post finally bought me my hospital appointment for the ECG monitor to be fitted - on the 13th while we are in Corfu!!! :( Then the car wouldn't start - flat battery - and Mick couldn't find his jump leads, so we had to get the bus into town and B was late for work! Mick has no idea what happened to his jump leads, but then as he hasn't needed them since long before we moved here they could even have got lost in the move   Still, we bought some in town for a tenner, and he's sorting the car now. Oh and a very helpful young lady on the NHS Appointments line managed to get me a new appointment for the Monday after we get back, the 19th! So all is well again now in Kazworld :P

:D Great news about Julie 8-) Great news about rebooking your appointment also :D I'm sure you'll get the car sorted - mine has phases where it won't start first key - a bit worrying when I am out and about on my own :o but I usually wait and keep trying it a few times and eventually it'll kick in, although mine isn't the battery ;)

Grey and a lot colder out there today after the weeks' sunshine....waiting for himself to move and get the decking treated after being jetwashed last night....it's come up lovely 8-) I really hoped the sun would be out again today to speed up the drying, the decking is on the north side of the conservatory so doesn't get as much sun in the cooler months, but if it was a few degrees warmer it would be ok....but he is still sat watching the racing with his phone glued to his hand      Oooo he's put it down....still sitting though.... :|

Jen is working till about 5 and then this evening I guess we'll be watching SCD and ordering a Chinese...... 8-)
