I can't remember the last time I had such a nice pootle just being in my house!

I done the ironing then went to do my lesson plans which led me to think I'd like a little space of my own, in the quiet to do them.

So off I go to Ikea and bought a swivel chair, a small bookcase and a desk.

I've set space aside in our TV room for 'my' wee office.

Don will build the items up for me.

A neighbour gave us a big bag of his home grown carrots so I've made tomato and carrot soup and a carrot cake.

I've caught up on my recorded programmes too.

And I'm definitely staying in tonight! Don's going to Paco's to watch the Malaga game and I'll watch SCD.

Must be soup making day here on VV, Mick and I just had a huge bowl of my tomato soup and it was lush!! I'm hoping the Vit C will help kill the cold Mick seems to have acquired, and stop me from catching it

We're just watching Eat Well for Less on the player, we normally save it for Sundays but we have tons to catch up on this week
