Rodo,
Are you one pf the lucky ones or are you still boiling water?
Have you recovered from your fall?
Best wishes

No we still have to boil in South Ribble Cruiser. At least they are giving out a bit more information now, which is a breakthrough. The odd thing is that all round us seems to be clear now - just not in this pocket area.

Thanks Cruiser, all the black has gone and am walking again reasonably well. Still have a bit of swelling in a couple of places though. It knocks your confidence when something like that happens though I found.

Are you off anywhere nice in the next couple of months?

Rodo,
Glad you asked. Must start packing!!
Going on a 16 day cruise from Southampton next Wednesday
Then got a seven day cruise on 2nd October on the same ship from Southampton to Barcelona. Got it at a good price.
Last one this year
Will have to stay at home to have my other eye done sometime

Rodo I saw the chap on Breakfast this morning, explaining about the pipe network not matching the postcodes etc.

Such a complete nuisance to put it mildly - you'll be automatically boiling once you're told it's ok!
Glad you're recovering ok but yes, these things do shake you up (((x)))

I don't know how they are going to cope with the schools when they go back on Thursday if it hasn't ended by then. It doesn't sound as if it will because they are already giving out warnings to the schools in this area. Imagine trying to keep watch on 4 year olds to make sure they don't go near the taps.
