Postby Ally » 23 Aug 2015, 05:09

Good morning. :D

Forecast hot again. 8-)

A swim then a walk along the coast after coffee. :D :D

Brunch then we're heading home - we've had the most fantastic time here. :D :D :D

Exciting stuff in our town today; the Vuelta Espana cycling team will be cycling from there to caminito del rey!! :D :D :D
Made me laugh when it described the terrain as hilly...errrr, just a bit!

We're going to go along and see if we can spot Chris Froome. :D :D

Staying in tonight and catching up on some tv. :D :D :D :D

Have a great day everyone. x

Morning everyone
Spring is in the air la la la la la la la
I attempted to mow the lawn this afternoon, mostly I mowed grass and not too much mud, I only slipped once so all in all a good result. Our house is on old swamp land so we still get pretty boggy in the winter. We haven't had much rain for a couple of days and rain is predicted on Tuesday, so I had to go for it.

Last night was panic stations. Hubby spilt a full glass of a deep purple red merlot on our cream carpet . Carpet cleaning machine once again saved the day, (I hope). I'm still trying to get the carpet dry, but it looks good do far.

Then just after that drama Sasha came down with an earache. I managed to clear most of the pain but time will tell if we're in for yet more antibiotics. Grrrrr
Everything happens for a reason

Morning everyone

Warm 8-)

Aw, poor Sasha, do hope the ear-ache clears up pronto xx

Saundra, go back to sleep whenever you want - we do, if we're tired. Grumpy had an hour yesterday afternoon.

We'll be watching the men in lycra Ally, will try hard and see if we can see you too :D :D

We've been given about a kilo of figs, so it's fig day here - wonder if they'll go with chicken?  Grumpy has started on them already

And talking of Grumpy, he's a happy Grumpy this morning - now there's a contradiction in terms ;) - but he's lost 5 kilos :D :D :D :D

Pootling for us today, rug washing, the GP, men in lycra, the athletics and figs

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all :D

No need to tell you I've been up since 7am

We had another lovely day with the boys yesterday, they decided to bury themselves in sand so you can imagine the clean up job when we got home  M's due around 12ish (Z's on a course) so after dinner, M&S shepherds pie, been much too busy to cook  they'll be off. No doubt E and I will collapse for the rest of the day, possibly even tomorrow

Hope you all have a good day :D

I hope Sascha is OK Weka.

A beautiful morning after last nights thunderstorms; the rain came down like the monsoon!

We're off to North Yorks soon for a few days; fingers crossed for good weather and lost of relaxing.

Morning all, pretty dreary here and not warm, it rained all night and is still raining on and off now. Mr Osc has a heavy chest cold so we have no plans to go out. Just had a good chat on the phone with my brother, our older brother died 23 years ago today, hard to know where those years have gone.

Glad you had another great day with the boys, Jen, you will have earned your collapse when they go home  Poor Sasha, hope she feels better soon. Lots of golf on the telly here, and probably other sport for the day too  Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all - started off with blue skies, but they were predicting rain from about 11ish onwards, so (same as Weka) I rushed to get the lawn mowed; and managed to get it all done with about 10 minutes to spare before the rain started - phew! They're expecting it to rain for the next few days now - just as well it's not much longer to go for my hols - I'm not quite ready for autumn winter yet.

Hope Sasha is OK Weka, poor thing; it must be so sore for her
Osc, know what you mean about the years going by; my oldest nephew turns 30 early September; he was born 4 months after my dad died - I cannot believe it's been 30 years already.

Hope everyone has a lovely day; continued vibes to those who need them

Afternoon everyone :)

Sorry to be late, we had a late night a dinner was late, then we sat talking etc..........Armand is very nice, tall dark and handsome with a lovely accent, and also very polite :D :D He praised my food which I took as a big compliment ;)   They got up late, I made brekkie, then Mick and I had to make an emergency dash to Sainsbury's as I forgot to get the blooming beef out of the freezer last night   We are having a very late lunch, then they are catching a train at about 6ish.........

I did read what everyone is up to, but as I'm so late there is too much to reply to each one personally, so just have a great rest of Sunday everyone :) xxx
