Second operation done

Well that was a long morning, and definitely not one Bb would want to repeat but it's done.
They didn't say it magically didn't need the second op after all but he does have an air ball, not a gas ball, hurrah!
So fingers crossed we should be able to go on holiday

They drained the oil, then put a camera in (yes inside his eye!), and decided the air ball would do the job.
Although we're now back to square one it's much better than a gas ball, he doesn't have to hold his head on the side etc.
Should get an appointment to go back for another review within 2 weeks.

It is amazing what they can now do on our eyes, I'll keep things crossed for Bs's success.

I am very pleased to hear this! Thank goodness Bb doesn't have to do that keeping his head on one side thing again, that must have been incredibly tiresome for him last time
