Well, Jacob goes off on his travels today. The 3 of us are taking him to the airport for 7pm and his flight's at 9.10.
Craig will be waiting at the other end to pick him up.

Quite pleasant out there at the moment, so I'll be sweeping the patio once I've finished my coffee

Off to the dentist this morning, got the first appointment, so should be out by 10.00 (it's at 9.00, but we know what the Portuguese are like, with time )

Then shopping, then back for the viewing.

Then move bedrooms. The neighbours from hell have moved in next door - just hope they're not here for too long.

I'll be staying in today, Harry's new bed is due to be delivered. I've already had a bit of a re-jig in there but I need to see the actual bed in situ really before it's finally sorted I also found a load more washing in his wardrobe so will be sorting that out as well It's a bright and dry day, if slightly chilly, so ideal for washing......

I'd like to send out some hugs too, to anyone who needs them. Lots of VVers going through stressful stuff at the moment (((((((x))))))))

Morning all Huge hugs for Ally today as well as Di and several others going through some tough times (((((((((((((VV)))))))))))))

I'm off to work for my last full day this week - nice surprise to learn Jan will be with me this afternoon (she goes out on home visits on a Wed morning). And my new stair carpet is to be fitted today! It was meant to be tomorrow morning, but the carpet man phoned me yesterday to ask if he could come today instead....Jen will be in so I said yes - far better than having to get up super early on my day off J and I might attempt the pub quiz again tonight.....might.

Hope you can arrange the bedroom ok Kaz, I'm sure you'll find a way!

Seriously Ton - your neighbours were still making noise at 5am or already making noise at 5am - not that it really makes a difference as regardless which, it's just plain rude.

But if it's a case of still making noise at 5am, then personally I'd give as good as they do and start playing classical music really loudly at 6am, whilst sweeping very loudly and loudly singing along! After all, it's their fault you're up bright and early on your behalf!

Morning all, miserable wet day here, we have the lights on H/worky stuff today and supermarket shop to be done. Also have to go to the police station to get my passport renewal form signed. Got the photo taken the other day and I must say, it is noticeably better than the one in the current passport. Scary thought......when the new one expires in 10 years time, I will be in my mid-70s Big big hugs for everyone who needs them. Have a good day all

No problem with the dentist, although he will try and find something This time it is a tooth, he said, that is getting old. Just like the rest of me, I replied Dozy sxd

House all ready for inspection and we have a sea mist which means the sea view is no longer

Ria, they're on holiday and only here for a week or so - hopefully I'll have a word with the owners when they come back.

A lot of us had to have a word with the guy across the road, about his tenants the other week - they were worse
