Very dark and damp here,
I am up early as I have to be in the eye department at
Ashford hospital at 11.
Son in law picking us up at 10 am.
I am hoping that my sight in the right eye is not worse
And that the membrane has,nt grown over the retina any more
Than it had last time.
If it has the consultant said he can operate but the op is,nt
always successful.
Will let you know the outcome later.

Morning everyone I have an opticians appointment, I'm hoping I won't need new specs but last year I just got away with keeping the same prescription, and I doubt I will be so lucky again. I hope they have the sunglasses in the BOGOF again, I love the ones I have at the moment and wear them more often than the 'normal' specs as I am quite sensitive to light! B is coming into town with me, she's not working again until Friday, although as someone at work is leaving she's hoping for more hours soon.

Tons of washing to do, better get some of that out before I go out

Cloudy and damp here today, I am on my own (again!!) as there are TWO staff off and they deem the other shops are more in need of an extra pair of hand in the guise of Jan than we are.....she is bouncing about it (we had a long text exchange last night when she found out she wasn't with me today) Fortunately I only have a full clinic this morning....tomorrow is another matter....

Only as I had an issue last time Gal, which resulted in me being referred to the hospital. I don't know f you remember, but I had those flashing lights and the optician thought he saw 'something' at the back of my eye, but the consultant Mr M couldn't see anything amiss and said the lights were ocular migraines - but to have another exam with the optician in a year. They've been reminding me for two months now

It was good of him to let me through, AR is used to travel but she had a case and bags to manage, so it was nice for me to see her into her seat and to know she was settled
