Morning Ally,morning everyone

Enjoy the day with your boys Ally - it is nice to have the family together (well as together as can be given different countries of course :D)

I'm going to potter a bit in the house / garden for a few hours and then get myself ready for a 12 o'clock pick up to go to this baby shower - so could do without it, but hey ho hum.... Had a bit of an annoying moment yesterday; but own fault in a way. Went shopping at Tesco for a few bits and bobs, including some clothing for the hols. I got home to try it all on and realised most things still had their security tags attached. The problem was that the barriers were already beeping before I went through so they just beeped even longer - security didn't come stop me at all (how bad is that!) Oh well; two items need to be returned anyway as they don't fit and then I'll have to get the tags taken off everything else

Have a lovely day all; whatever it is you're up to

Hope Bb is doing OK?

Morning you two! Good morning everyone :)

Ally have a wonderful day with D and the boys! ((((x))))

Ria I hope the shower goes ok - what did you buy in the end? Annoying about the tags, that has happened to me before now and it's infuriating :?

I hope Bb is coming along well xxxxx

Well AR is having a lie in so I've got my laptop out for a few minutes ;) I still find using the laptop easier - I'm much faster at typing on a keyboard than tapping on my phone    Mick and I are popping to Morrisons as soon as it opens, then back here before 12 to all go out for a Sunday roast at about 1ish - AR's treat, she insisted! :)

We had a nice day yesterday, AR fancied a long walk round the Docks so we walked all round the main basin, behind all the apartments there, past the Waterways museum, the military museum, and the new restaurants, then had a bite of lunch, and walked back through the shopping outlet part (with a detour or two ;) ) back to the multi-storey :) Then we spent the rest of the afternoon looking at old photos and chatting, before I cooked dinner........

Have a nice Sunday everyone :) xx

Morning all
Ally, sounds like you have a lovely day lined up!

Meriad, I had that once, only I'd bought a dress, from a boutique shop, at their warehouse sale, got home and discovered the tag. Being a 'no returns' sale, I didn't have a receipt either. So I went into their town store to try and get it off, to be told, "oh, we don't have a machine to take that off, but take it to xyz shop downstairs, they should be able to get it off" I obviously dong look like a shop lifter

More pack up clean up for me today at my nanas, I've bought home a leather lazy boy chair a couple of wire baskets, and some very evil looking knives. So if anyone needs a leg amputated, I've got the right tool

Kaz, I ended up buying a pack of three long sleeved sleep suits (white ones age 3-6 months), a pack of 5 muslin cloths and a bottle of infacol. I did look for one of those hooded towels but they only had fairly gender specific colouring and as we don't know what baby is going to be I couldn't really get that. But it's something easy enough to buy once baby is born and send up

enjoy the Sunday Roast - nice of AR to treat you all

Weka, those lazy boy chairs are super comfy; enjoy xxx

Hubby was not at all keen on the idea of getting it, till I mentioned changing the playroom back into the library when the kids are past playroom stage, and putting his chess board between this one and its pair which is still at my nanas. Now he is onboard with the idea. Personally I'm loving the library idea, the bookshelves are still there from the previous owners

Morning :)
Another lovely start to the day here, hope it lasts! Yesterday, as with so many others, started so well then went downhill. It didn't rain but got cloudy and dull, and not exactly cold but not sunny-hot either.

Sounds like lots of nice plans for today, hope the shower goes ok meriad and enjoy the tea :)
Bb's doing Ok, he's feeling a lot better; we have no way of knowing how the eye is actually doing, so it's all a bit of an anxious waiting game till they look at it properly on Tuesday :?
He's had a bath this morning - much easier than a shower to keep the eye dry, with me washing his hair - at least we've had previous practice at it :)
I seem to have barely stopped since I got up and really should pop out for a bit of shopping before the next eye drop palaver (just checked, less than two hours) - oh and think of something for dinner that's not much work too ;)
Hope you all have a good day

And you Kaz xx Sunday lunch out, lovely.

Weka, I've always wanted a library :D and if I really need something cut off, I'll let you know

Bbq for us later - first one for a while.

Enjoy your day everyone, whatever you're doing xx
