I was on my kindle and a message came up saying my kindle might have this virus 13
Did I want it removed
It spooked me I didn't do anything is it a con

Unless you have software on your kindle which specifically looks for viruses, then it will almost certainly be a fake. The most likely way a virus can get into a Kindle is if you invite it by installing it.

This is what we call social engineering. Make you think you are fixing a problem when you are actually creating the entire problem.

I'd ignore it and remove the message. If it recurs, then we can check again, but I can't find any reference to Virus 13 which probably means it's a fake.

I hadn't seen them Saundra, but, yes I think they are brilliant too.

About time we had a bit more visibility to things like our historical documents. Lincoln was a pretty important place in the middle ages. Roman times too.
