We are promised a decent day today, after two days of terrific rain and wind................That will be good as I need to get to town, to post a parcel!

Not feeling too clever actually, I woke in the night with terrific pins and needles and feeling a bit giddy. I've had a weird pain in my back for the past day or so, so am sure it's related to that - a pinched nerve somewhere - and my spinal problems :? Keeping moving is good anyway, so I shan't change my plans to go out......

Hope everyone is well this morning, enjoy your day xxxxxxxxx

Oh Dear Kaz.. Get it sorted if it goes on, sending you vibes and every one else who is not up to par..((((((((poorlies)))))0

Morning all :D

Good luck today Ton, hope it all goes smoothly x

Visited mother yesterday morning and it was nice to see her in an okay mood. Then we had a lovely afternoon and evening with eldest daughter and brood, didn't get home til midnight  It's all arranged they're all (youngest daughter and boys too) coming to us for the Sunday the weekend after we get back from holibobs which just happens to be Mother's Day and is only two days after eldest daughters birthday. Promises to be lots of fun :D :D

Only a few days left now and we're still not completely organised. Need to pop out this morning to collect orders from Boots and M&S, oh and there's a trip to the tip planned too........it's all go here

Hope you all have a good day :D

Good morning all, it's chucking it down here at the moment, although it was nice and bright when we got up. I want to walk down to the bottle bank, and then to get some fish but thankfully I was dawdling at home otherwise I would have got very wet. Sorry you found the dancing hard going, Loz, but I know you will keep trying because that's what dancers do ((((((Loz)))))). Do be careful Kaz, and take it easy when out, Ton hope all goes well for you. Nothing special planned for the day and we will be dancing tonight. Have a good day everyone :)

Good afternoon all, it's bright, sunny and mild here but ever so windy! I've picked up the recycling box and it's contents four times so far. I'm fighting a losing battle I think. Twice I picked it all up and put it back as normal, the third time I moved the bin so that the box was well and truly wedged in and also put my (folded) whirly washing line on top of the recycling box to give it some weight. Ten minutes later I heard an almighty bang and the half full wheelie bin was on it's side, the washing line was halfway down the garden, the recycling box was at the bottom of the garden and the contents were everywhere again

The gym is done and I did some shopping before coming home. Billy's had a long walk and I think this afternoon I'm going to see if I can make up a bag for the charity shop and have a sort out in the wardrobes.
This evening we have Joe's parent's evening. Not looking forward to it as they've changed the format this year and instead of the teachers all being in the hall they now stay in their classrooms and you have to run around the maze of corridors like headless chickens looking for them. It worked like clockwork in the hall but this way it runs way over time and I wasn't blessed with patience.

Take care Kaz (((Kaz)))

((((Loz))))

Debbie, I really hope dinner is cooked for you when you get home too!

Thinking of you this afternoon Ton!

Afternoon :)
Jo that is a stupid system, anyone can see it will take twice as long!

Ten minutes after I posted it got dark and the heavens opened, I almost didn't go, but waited half an hour and it cleared. The roads are just dreadful, the last thing needed here is any more rain.

Jo you know your speaker dock bargain? I popped in Sainsburys today as it was on the way, and got a clock/radio/speaker dock for only £11.99 (reduced from £39.99), for the boys' bedroom - and free with my nectar points too :D

What a great 'buy'! I love freebies! :D Sainsburys have had some good bargains this year haven't they, what with these and Kaz's food processor!

I think we were there around an hour for Tom's parent's evening and we saw four teachers - history, maths, English and psychology - for meetings which lasted less than five minutes each. When it was in the hall, if the next teacher was running late and had someone already waiting you could look down your list and see if any of the other teachers were vacant but with this you go to a class and see three people waiting and you don't know whether to chance running to another department because that teacher could be even more behind with appointments  I meant to email the school after the last time but forgot as it was close to Christmas, if tonight is similar I'll be emailing tomorrow.

The wind here this afternoon was the strongest I have ever been in.

I actually had a job to prevent myself being blown over, and there were wheely-bins strewn
all over the place - even in the roads.

I hear there is more snow forecast for the weekend.

Awful out there isn't it Aggers, myself and Joe walked down to the school for parent's evening. We were rather windswept by the time we got there, it's about a 40 minute walk and I was ever so glad to see the school - John thought he was going to be late but he pulled through the gates just as we walked through so we could've got a lift after all
I can't get warm now, and my hands are still like blocks of ice :?
