Sounds good to me Ally, have a great day :D

Morning all :) The sun is out, Harry is here and we are trying out the new Wetherspoons in the docks, which has a big waterside beer garden, for lunch 8-) This afternoon we'll pop round to see D as usual. although M's brother and family are up for the weekend and we haven't seen them since Cyprus when he and M had that bit of a fracas, so I hope that goes ok, if they are there :? We normally go out for a family meal on Saturday night when they are up, but nothing has been mentioned this time. I hope it won't be too awkward :?

Anyway, not going to let that spoil my Harry weekend :) 8-)

Have a good day everyone :) xxxx

Morning all
I think missy has tonsillitis again. Just as well I already had a Drs appointment on Monday morning for her.

We were supposed to go to my parents for my dad's birthday lunch today, but instead the lunch and family came to us.

Tomorrows lunch with friends has been cancelled.

C'est la vie

Morning all. We had an amazing storm last night.

After spending all day yesterday with an awful sore throat and raging thirst, they have today been joined by bunged up ears and nose. I shan't be doing much today so the planned allotment trip will have to wait.

I'm going to sit on the sofa and feel sorry for myself instead.

Morning everyone

Last lot of washing in and then the ironing marathon will begin    Then a shower, cold, I think

An easy day for us, as Grumpy was not feeling too good yesterday - and he's the worlds worst patient

Have a lovely Harry day Kaz and hope you all have a lovely day xx

Morning :)
Fantastic storm here too Debih, we went outside to watch the lightning, it was flashing literally non-stop, not right over us but not far away.
The rain hammered down soon after, but not for long. Further down the coast around Bournemouth there were roads that turned into fast-flowing rivers, and at least one house struck by lightning.
Minnie was panicky, but it all died down around midnight.

Today so far is rather dull, although still very warm there's a nice breeze; it's meant to be dry, warm and sunny so I shall sue the weatherman if the washing gets soaked :D
Oh dear Weka, I used to constantly get tonsilitis, no fun is it x
Debih you do nothing and get everyone else to feel sorry for you too (((x)))
Gosh Kaz I'd hope they'd just let all that blow over, hope it goes ok (((x))) Have a good lunch anyway and enjoy H :) x
Ally enjoy your laze :D

I might go down into town and have a mooch around the market; Bb's out working till sometime this afternoon so I can either go very soon or leave it till after lunch - no parking spaces will be had in between :)
That and more trawling of various holiday apartments and flight combinations that are giving me headaches
You find a flight out for say, £76 each but then find to come back will cost £146 each
We'll get there ;) :)
Have a good day all

Yes, same here. It started about 2:00 and lasted for an hour. Not so much rain - we had a brief 10 minute burst - but almost constant flashes of sheet lightning and thunder. It was like watching flash bulbs go off behind the trees, one moment you could see nothing, the next you could see virtually every leaf starkly outlined in black and white.

Start of the new footie season for me today with a 12:00 pre-season friendly match at Smithswood Firs FC, whose ground is very entertainingly situated right at the end of the main Birmingham International airport runway. I must remember to duck!

I recommend you do duck Ossie - my plane flew right over there on Wednesday as Jackie lives a spit away from Marston Green recreation ground!

We use two computers when we are booking things……….if the price goes up and we want to book it, we go to the second laptop and the price is invariably the lower one. Many sites track you and if you return, you must be keen, so up goes the price.
