Morning all, mostly cloudy here, which is ok as I'm heading into town to do some holiday shopping - well you have to, don't you ;) Going to town rather than a shopping centre as I want a big M&S and Boots. Need to replace my epilator as the one I have gave up the ghost yesterday (thankfully just as I finished the job  ) Also want some new underwear and some of those hidden support tops. Supermarket shop on the way home. Guess the ironing will have to wait yet another day ;) Have a good day everyone :)

Morning all

Rather grey this morning but definitely warmer than it has been; that cold wind seems to have gone away. Usual work day for me - really looking forward to next week not having to work for two days.

My train leaves at 12.30 on the Wednesday so no mooching for me sadly; but in a way just as well as my cat sitter called the other day to say she can't look after my gang as her back is playing up really badly. Nadine thankfully said she'll pop by on the Tuesday afternoon to feed them for the evening but they'll just have to survive on their dry food until I get home on Wednesday afternoon.

Have a lovely time away Cruiser
Good luck to S for for exams today

Kaz, same here about the exercise - I really need to find the time somehow, somewhere. But I'm out of the house 11 or 12 hours a day as it is; I really don't want to be away longer than that. I really really really have no desire to stop off at a gym for an hour on my way home. When you go for your walk into town, how long does that take and do you walk there and catch the bus back or walk both ways?

Debih, you'll be fine - you can do it! :-) x

have a lovely day all x

Have fun shopping Osc ;) :) Got to be done :P

Ria I walk both ways unless I have heavy shopping. The problem is the walking isn't 'pushing' me enough, he said - I have always walked, really, so my body is so used to it that it isn't helping my fitness levels    He was very pleased indeed at my weight loss but said I was probably unfit, and that was possibly contributing to the palpitations :?

Oh and it is a good 1.5 - 2 miles into town and it takes me about 20 - 25 minutes if I march :)

Morning all :D

Another sunny day here 8-)

We try to get out for a little walk most days, E's very limited because of his hips, but we can get around the harbour and he says moving here where the scenery is so nice makes the effort worthwhile.

We're off to the cinema to see Jurassic World later...........getting ready to be scared witless  Afterwards we'll have a late lunch/early dinner somewhere.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning :)
Bb's here again, hence my absence ;)
He's stuck, his work m/c isn't working properly so he's waiting for the helpdesk to sort it out - considering he first phoned them at 8 it's more a not-very-helpful-desk. You don't mind if something takes a while, but when they say someone will ring back within 10 mins/half an hour/whatever, they really should do that

Apart from that it's rather nice here :D A bit cloudy but some sun and definitely warming up :D
I did a fair bit yesterday (for me that is) so am a bit tired/dopey today, but I've got very good at ignoring things that should be done ;) :)
