Thank you everyone. I have spoken to Martin this afternoon and he sounds cheerful and says he is pain free. We had a short chat and he is doing ok despite having a massive heart attack. We have decided not to tell mum anything for the moment as she is quite confused and forgetful these days. No point in worrying her more when she can't do anything.
