Morning Tuesday

Postby Lozzles » 29 Jan 2013, 07:08

Morning all. Just off to the hospital for my scan, so will be back a bit later. Thanks for your thoughts for my brother. Hopefully I'll have some more news today.
My other brothers and I haven't told my mum yet as she gets a bit confused and forgetful. Not quite sure how to handle it really. I'll see how things go first I think.
Have a good day everyone x

Morning Loz, I came in early to see if there was news. Sending all my love for your brother today, and for your scan. Thinking of you {{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{x}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}

Food shopping today, I was going yesterday, but in the end I went to town instead and got H some new footie boots and trainers in the sale in a sports shop - 13 on Friday and he's almost into a size 10, so that's the size I bought him  Even Mick is only a 9 :?

More rain forecast :( Oh for some bright wintery days without either snow or pouring rain!

Have a good day everyone :) xxxxx

Morning all. Hope all goes well with your scan today Loz and continued vibes for your brother.

I'm at work this morning. I have my line manager coming over for me 1 to 1. As usual I am dreading it - I don't know why I get so het up about it as it usually only takes about 5 minutes. She always sets these stupid targets for me to do which is fine - she comes every six weeks so the targets are achievable but she seems to forget that I only work part time so it is like having it every 3 weeks.

I am finishing at lunchtime and going home to potter and hopefully finish my knitting.

Good luck loz
Spent all day cleaning and tidying the new house, and by night fall I looks like I've done nothing... :? Of well, didn't take a day to pack up...
Had a lovely full night sleep last night. Misses fever has gone, the cat stayed off the roof and even little o slept end right through.

He's done fantastically well with the potty today, not a single accident!! Might consider putting some pants on him soon. As my nana put it, I hope there are no ducks around..

How is Millie and your dad deb?
Hope oojs daughter is ok.

Have a good day everyone

Morning :)
Horrible - very wet, very windy, and very dark...
A list of jobs for today, ones I shall feel better for ticking off :)

Thinking of you Loz, for your scan and for your brother. I'm sure you're doing the right thing with your mother, wait and see for now.
Have as good a day as you can everyone

But - oh what a beautiful moooorning, gorgeous outside, washing out, windows and doors open, sadly that means that I can hear next door but one's blasted dog, wot barks and barks because the poor thing is bored. No-one to talk to, no-one at hom. left outside all day and night

Pootling for me today and have a shower again later, with that de-cleansing shower gel

Hope all the poorly ones are feeling okay and thinking of Loz and her bruv xx

Millie doing well Weka - long thread on Pets about her so won't repeat myself here.

Not so sure about my dad. He has been hallucinating over the weekend - he was on some different tablets and when my mum looked at the side effects, hallucination was one of them so she stopped them after 3 days (he was only supposed to be on them for 5 anyway). He is very unsteady on his feet and mum wonders if this is due to some tablets, but also thinks he needs his ears syringing. She put a call into the doctor this morning and is waiting for a call back.

They saw the consultant last week who said he was really pleased with how it had all gone. However, he still has no sight and when he had it done last time he could see by now so mum is really worried that it hasn't worked. However, my dad is really chirpy so she hasn't mentioned that to him. I am taking them to se the consultant on Saturday so we shall learn more then.
