It is indeed. Well the code is readable we just need a bit more error information first. Then we can try and find out what Access is barfing on. It was quite familiar, my first experience with Access was at the RBS in 1993 where I wrote an asset control db in Access 1.1 ( I was a DB programmer then)... In the end we ditched it for Lotus notes, but that's another long old story...

You have every right to be. I'm very proud of my youngest son who works in a company producing hundreds of websites for the government. All self motivated and mainly self taught.

Sorry Suff, I've been getting thumping headaches again each evening like I did 2 or 3 years ago. And evenings at the moment are the only time I've got to look at this. Hopefully they subside again in a week or two, else I'll have to go see someone again. :(
But I wanted to let you know, I wasn't ignoring you. And I'm still grateful for your offer of help.

No stress. When you have time is fine with me.

I was ill at work last week anyway and I lost most of my weekend to car V5 (lost it and trip to the UK needed) and my bead on my (almost new), front tyre on the bike started separating. I got back at 10pm yesterday after a long and frustrating day getting everything done.

So when you are ready. The debugger is your best friend and when you have a handle on it we can discuss the way it's programmed. It' looks like a DBase programmer used it, there are more elegant ways in Access but that's work for down the line when you have it running.
