Good morning Sunday

Hot and sunny. 8-) 8-) 8-)

A swim then zoning out by the pool all day. :D :D

A wander into town tonight for a beer and a bite to eat - and a chat about whether Don will actually get to Birmingham tomorrow. See separate thread.

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, morning all

I also would love to be sitting by a pool Ally, I am jealous. Karl and Nadine put theirs up on Friday and mad kids that they are they've been in a few times already. The water is freezing and the air temps not much warmer. How they don't come out as ice blocks is beyond me.

Lazy(ish) day for me; just pottering about. Doing a bit more tidying in the house and then having fun in the garden. BBQ for myself later for dinner

Have a lovely day everyone x

Good morning Ally and evrybody.

Hope to wash the flags today. The sun keeps popping out but there are a few clouds about.
May have a phone call this evening from one of mrs.e's cousins. She is doing a 6K run at Southport in aid of cancer. She is 65 and has not done any training for it. Will be encouraged by her 28 year old daughter who is fit.

Morning all :)
And a beautiful one it is too :D
Bb's out with Minnie for her little pootle, when he's back we'll decide what to do with the day; a bit of gardening will be included.

Barbeque for us later too, that lamb is marinating and should be gorgeous :)
Have fun :)

She should be ok if she walks it Cruiser, as is allowed - good luck to her!! :D 8-)

Morning everyone :)

It looks fine again here :) Harry has to be back at his dad's by mid afternoon, so we are doing the Morrison's shop late morning (as normal) but accompanied by both B and H (which isn't LOL) then all having a quick lunch in the café there, so saving a heap of time, as otherwise I'd be cooking when we got home afterwards  Not exactly cordon bleu, but they do a fab all-day brekkie or decent roast

The pool sounds good Ally 8-) :)

Your day pottering sounds nice too Ria - I might well potter this afternoon, Mick and the dogs will be out taking H home so it will be quiet, just me and B :)

Enjoy your day Di, the lamb sounds gorgeous :)

Have a nice day everyone :) xx

Morning all........just

Nothing planned here today, we're in recovery mode after all the excitement of yesterday  Can't believe Zachery will be going to senior school in September, doesn't seem possible, where has all the time gone :o We treated him to his new blazer, school bag and ordered his tie. He can't have the latter until he knows what house he'll be in. The new first years go in a day earlier than the other pupils and find out then. Z&M bought a few other bits, jumper, sports shirts etc, the rest (track suit, gym kit, ipad) gets ordered online. The ipad is the most expensive item, but the school do a £50 deposit followed by £13 monthly interest free payments until it's paid for. Luckily trousers, white shirts, and black shoes can be bought anywhere, just as well as it all adds up. The school sounds very good, the most important thing is the total number of pupils is actually fractionally less than just the first year intake at the other school he was originally allocated. A smaller environment should suit Zachery better.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Evening all, we are back home after our few days babysitting. The children were so good, just a shame that the weather was so disappointing - today started off gorgeous but then got rather cloudy and it was cool when the sun went in. Miss Osc and SIL seem to have had a very nice time. Relaxing evening ahead catching up on recorded stuff. Hope everyone is having a good day :)
