Jen, I downloaded the app and then used my email address to sign in (using the email and username you used to register with the link Mick set up)

Once in you'll automatically be faced with a variety of forums make sure you unclick them all or that they say don't follow and then do a search for the forum name as per the instructions on here

I used my VV log in details to get on the test site.

Now that I would pay to see

Well I've had Mick's email to say I've been activated, but when I go into the tapatalk app and enter the e-mail address and password I registered on his link to sign in with it still says the account doesn't exist. Am I being really obtuse, what am I missing?

Erm it might be username and password Jen? Not 100% sure as I'm not on the test board myself, but that's what it takes here in the 'real' VV

Try deleting the app and download it again.

No idea if that will work but always worth a try.

But try your VV log in details first.

I'd already tried uninstalling the app and starting again and I've used both user name/password and e-mail/password to log in, still no joy

Have just uninstalled for the 2nd time and will wait a bit before trying again.
