Booked a Service and MOT for this morning but when I tried to go, found the battery was dead. I had left the lights on since Saturday

oh no very frustrating. Did you manage to get it started and rebooked?

Thanks for kind comments, difficult to get out of the garage and I have not got any jump leads nor anyone I could ask. So have rebooked in three weeks time.
Luckily MOT goes to the end of the month.

Do you not have a battery charger. We have had one for several years. Got it when my wife had a car which only had a dynamo, not an alternator. Battery would loose its charge if it did not have a long run.
