Of course you can
I wouldn't ever wrap them in foil though, just don't have them on the hottest part.
If you beat them out you can cook them on the hottest bit, just a couple of mins per side.
Or cut into cubes, marinate then put into skewers.
Bottled piri-piri (or homemade of course) with either lemon or orange juice plus oregano is lovely.
A dry mix of spices/herbs is good too, mix it up and rub it well in.
Or mix hot curry powder (assuming you haven't got tandoor or tikka powder/paste) with plain yoghurt (can't remember if you can get it). First sprinkle chicken with lemon juice then sit in the yoghurt mix for a couple of hours (at least).
A lovely Thai recipe mixes crushed black peppercorns, coriander seeds, brown sugar, fresh chillies, chopped fresh coriander & lemon or lime.
Obviously these ideas are also fine for half or whole chickens too
