I really dislike starting cleaning houses at this time of day

Oh yes, a morning (early) start is much better

Mrs who must be obeyed said they'd leave about 2.30 ish.

So we thought, what the heck, got there at 2.15 and they'd been gone a while

Whizzed - and I mean whizzed through 3 bathrooms, the oven and hob, couldn't do the fridge - too much food in there and also a bit smelly - Grumpy cleaned the fire, windows and dusted, I vacuumed all 3 bedrooms, bathrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen and mopped

All in 2 hours

He's had a beer, I had a shower

Dinner at the Capri tonight

And gurt lush it was too

Grumpy had what is basically veal stew, I had a HUGE t-bone of veal, chips, rice and salad.

And we both had the customary coffee, brandy and more brandy

Grumpy has hay fever

You'd think he was the only person to ever have hay fever. He had to let me drive home

I'm not doing very well with my day of cleaning.

Its almost 11am and so far all I've managed to do is carry the polish and duster from the kitchen cupboard and put it on the table next to the laptop.
