Morning Ally :D

It's another sunny day here - it has been amazing, coming home from Cyprus to weather that is almost as nice as it was there!! I was quite expecting to come back to rain or cold or both but it's been gorgeous 8-) 8-) Any VVers in the SE need to be careful today, however, as there is a poor air quality warning - we are ok here in the West I think and the rest of the country.........

Almost the weekend again :o This week has passed in a flash and under a sea of holiday washing   That's all done now but I can't face the ironing yet :?

No big plans for today, probably a walk later at some point.....

Have a nice Friday everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Looks like we're in for another bright day. Yesterday got so warm I was walking around the shops in a cotton top, it was lovely.

Busy morning, we've got a couple of viewings in our preferred village, hence the early start. Not sure what to expect, both are new to the market so no details online yet. Will probably take a stroll along the seafront too if the weather holds up.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all - I'm sitting at my desk with a huge big grin on my face; last day for me today then off for a week; absolute and utter and sheer bliss! And best is that the big boys (ie the bosses) themselves will be away for most of the week so it will be fairly quiet and I don't have to worry about anything going wrong

Ally, enjoy the hill walk - you'll more than deserve your Friday evening beer and tapas after that. And most definitely enjoy the shopping spree - 40% off is an excellent deal :o
Kaz, enjoy the day; plenty of time to catch up on the ironing. Get B to do hers ;-) that will reduce the pile by 1/3 at least :D
Jen - best of luck with the viewings today; fingers crossed. And enjoy the walk along the seafront - a beautiful day for it

have a lovely day everyone else

Morning :)
Well, we certainly have the 'poor air quality' here, for once I could understand Breakfast banging on about it, it is pretty bad.
Thankfully neither of us has asthma or whatever, but all the same I shan't plan on running a marathon today ;)

Yesterday was interesting, we did quite a lot. Different types of shots sitting on different sofas (it was in a house), shots of me 'reading' their publications, 'listening' to podcasts, trying to look 'thoughtful', walking up and down the road outside, in the garden (with cat).
I was also interviewed on video, as they have real women telling their stories/giving advice on their website.
The people involved were really, really nice, friendly and funny and well-used to putting people at ease, even camera-shy ones like me :)
They will send me some of the pics once they've gone through them all, so hope there are some good enough to show you :)

Then of course a fab, fab evening to round it off with meriad and bargain-price Prosecco :D
We resisted staying too late and I was home by 10.30, shattered but worth it :)
Have a good day all

Jen good luck, fingers crossed for your viewings XX

Ooh Ria lovely, and the weather is forecast good for next week :D :D :D Becks does all her own washing and ironing these days, my humungous pile is just mine, Mick's and Harry's   I would take a photo but I'd need a wide-angled lens :o :P  ;)

Di that all sounds really interesting, and I'd love to see some of the pics 8-) xxxx

Take care in the bad air today (((((x)))))

Morning all. Gorgeous day here today although I'm a little worried about the air pollution again. I struggled a little yesterday and although I know the worst of it is in the SE the Midlands have high readings. And I'm outside for most of the day!

I'm at work - almost unheard of for me to be working on a Friday. I've been organising a big opening event at our latest housing scheme and today is the day. I'm about to leave the office shortly to start blowing up balloons!

No real plans for later other than trying to fit in a run (dependent upon pollution conditions and my asthma) and maybe go out for a drink with friends. We were out last night and are out at a party tomorrow night so the bath may win out tonight!
Life begins at the end of your comfort zone!

Morning everyone

The thick cloud is slowing fading, so hoping for a good day :D

Glad you had such a good time yesterday Di xx

Enjoy your week off Ria :D

Good luck with the viewings Jen.

We're off to Olhao later, to register the car (65 euros  ) then shopping, then a stroll down to the village to get the lotto and have a beer or two :D

And I might even get the chance to drive Hiho  8-)

Kaz, the ironing can wait, until you're in the right frame of mind- have you plenty of clothes, meanwhile 8-)

Have a great day everyone xx

Go steady Debih, might be better to give it a miss today. The forecast here is actually moderate rather than low, and thinking about it my chest did ache a bit yesterday after I walked to town. I thought nothing of it at the time as I was unaware of the air quality thing..........

Ria I looked at the BBC forecast for Send for next week, just to double check, and it looks fabulous for your week off!!! :D :D 8-)

Ton one thing I am never short of is clothes

Good morning all.

It's a lovely morning here, so I might take a walk later on, when I've dealt with
a few jobs that have cropped up here.

Hope you all have a lovely day - but don't overdo it, you poorly ones.
