Morning all, another nice day but not as warm as the last couple of days and quite a bit of hazy cloud around. Busy day today, we are expecting older builder any minute to do the snag list - he said he would be here by 10.30 but no sign of him yet. Mr Osc has hoovered, I've dusted, put out a wash, semi-packed for the weekend, so the time waiting has not been wasted. We have to collect Mr Osc's laptop from computer hospital and I need to get some sterling, plus kitchen guy is due at 2pm. Babysitting for Miss Osc this evening. Have a good day everyone

Good morning all.

It's a beautiful morning here. Spring has truly sprung.

I'm not too happy. This blasted cough I have had for weeks just won't go away, and yesterday I had my blood coagulation checked at the doctors. My target INR figure is 3.5, but it came up at 7.5, and I was told that if I suffered any bleeding I must now go straight to A&E. I was told that things I take for my cough, such as paracetamol, or even Fisherman's Friends sweets, would affect my INR reading. I am not to take any more Warfarin and am to go for another coagulation check tomorrow afternoon. I've had a chat with my local pharmacist and he confirmed that any change in diet or medication is likely to interfere with the effects of Warfarin. What a game!

Di, the building nearly did finish us off Kitchen guy also came today and finished all the outstanding bits. Young builder has to come back and clear the snag list, but there's nothing major on it.
