Morning all, mixed weather here with lots of rain earlier. Housey stuff today, need to get it all up to date as SIL's brother-in-law died early this morning and we will be on babysitting duty quite a lot this week, I think. No other plans for the day, Ireland -v- Poland later on. Have a safe flight Kaz, and I hope Di is feeling a lot better. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning :)
Chilly and wet and windy here.

I am feeling much better thank you, although the stomach is still pretty bad. Bb got in from work late yesterday and asked if there was anything I fancied for dinner, and I did - I fancied a steak! So he went back out again and got us 2 lovely steaks :)
I actually enjoyed it, and managed to eat nearly half of it, plus a few chips and a spoonful of peas. Didn't enjoy it quite so much when I was in the loo at 2.30 this morning but that would be the same whatever I ate, so hey-ho.

More upset this morning; my s/sister's husband was to read a poem at the funeral, but he's a diabetic and his eyes have misted over so that's obviously a big worry, he's off to the eye clinic in the morning.
My uncle phoned, s/mother had asked him if he'd read it instead (she should have asked him in the first place but still). He in turn was asking if I'd like to, but we both agreed it would be better from a man - it's a cricket poem.
He was having a few problems with it, it's tricky timing/awkward words, but he said I'd helped; I'm sure he'll be fine.

Now I can finally work out what I'm going to wear - thankfully I have that birthday skirt otherwise I'd be completely stuck, so I just need to find something to go with it. I didn't dream I still wouldn't have left the house this long after we came home!

Debih you poor thing, did I mention before about the gym ball? Well worth a try if you can get one xx

Sorry for your SIL's family Osc (((x)))

Good trip to Kaz

Good afternoon all, I think it's finally stopped raining here (although there's a huge thunder cloud on it's way from Norwich*). John's not been out for his bike ride today so the weather must be bad.

* Mother in law is on her way back from Norwich and, as far as I was aware until last night, was staying overnight and going back to Wales tomorrow morning. John just casually said last night "Did you know that she's staying until Tuesday?" No I flipping well didn't :x I thought I'd done well as Tom and I were seeing Frank Turner (Oooh that was amazing - and what a lovely man to talk to!!) when she arrived on Wednesday so I saw her for all of 10 minutes when we got home and she didn't get up and leave for Norwich until we'd all gone out on Thursday morning and I was focusing on getting today/tomorrow morning out of the way and that would be it for a few months but no

Thinking of you Di, and your family too Osc xx

Good afternoon, all.

Not a very good day here, but we won't be going out anywhere - that's for sure.
We both are feeling poorly with these wretched coughs that just won't go away.
I will try to see my GP tomorrow. I'm taking paracetamol, but that affects my
blood coagulation, so I do need to have that checked. This is the worst winter
we have had, health-wise, for many a year. (The politicians' fault. no doubt.)

Hope you other poorlies feel better soon.
Aggers
