Mick has had a day at home today to paint laundry room.

But before he started it he decided to fit a two way light switch in the landing. This led to him finding a bad cable which now means that we have had the ceiling down on the landing and a big channel dug in the wall to get the new wires to the switch. Its a good job the replastering and decorating of the hall, stairs and landing is next years job!

There is plaster and muck all over the stairs and landing (which I had hoovered before he started).

He started at 10am. It is now 1.30pm and he is still doing it.

One little job..................

Our new agents rang earlier, they may have a viewing for us - which is very naughty of them, as the contract doesn't start for another couple of weeks.

So Grumpy got all excited, took down the other agents sign    and then she came round and said the man didn't like the main road we're on.

But it's a start - before they've even started

   Mick thinks he's in the doghouse ;) He was in charge of booking us a table at the Teddy (King Edward VII pub) for Sunday lunch (we always take his mum out on Mother's Day) but I just had a subdued phonecall from him, telling me he'd only just remembered, and they were fully booked!!

So I've pretended to be sad, and now he's cooking a big roast lunch here on Sunday for me, the kids and his mum!! 8-)   Don't tell him yet, but I'm not a bit cross, and will definitely be giving him a hand - it's easier to control my WW points when we eat at home, and with my early Monday morning weigh-in I'm not keen on eating out on a Sunday :P

I might tell him, once he's hoovered and mopped all the floors downstairs.................. ;)
