We'd been on a price fix meriad which did us well as it ended about last April I think, and prices had gone up a lot during the term :)

It does seem unfair about meters Wm, I noticed the Sainsburys quote was n/a for pre-pay meters.

I have checked a few out, Di, and it is all a bit of a minefield. Some have a standing charge of x per day where others add it to the unit price, and the charge varies from company to company.

I am quite happy to keep an aye on the meters and only use what I need. That doesn't mean I scrimp.... I refuse to be cold.

I switched using Uswitch just ten days ago and I have also gone over to Sainsburys…….I am saving £204!!

You are right Saundra, it took me a few minutes and Uswitch did everything.
