Ria, I asked that the last time they dropped it off at that Post Office and was told that it had in effect been delivered so was out of their hands, if the driver had kept it on the van and returned it to the depot then they would've made another delivery attempt.

I've spoken to our local fire brigade - mostly all volunteers . and they are coming to look at our old cooker. If they can sell it, it's money for them to buy equipement.

If Jim Parsons isn't sat in Sheldon's spot on the One Show sofa I'm going to be upset

We were sat outside, near the front door yesterday afternoon, when a couple of people stopped to take a photo of the house and next door

Then a bloke came along and wanted to know the price and we spent about half an hour, chatting in English, Portugues with a smattering of German (his)

I'm not even thinking about any one now Kaz - been let down so many times, hopes get raised, then we don't hear a thing.

I presume he meant 'with' his friend's father unless cannibalism has hit our town.

The builders are gone Well there are still things to be done plus the snag list to be drawn up and dealt with, but over all, they are mostly finished! They did some excellent cleaning today, told one of them I might get him back regularly to clean the house Now the work really starts for us, moving the rest of our stuff in and sorting it out. Got some flatpack to build, and (sad person that I am) I'm looking forward to filling my lovely new hotpress - oh sorry, you say airing cupboard - as I hated the one in our old house
