I made a lovely dinner tonight

Postby miasmum » 18 Feb 2015, 22:53

I am getting quite into this cooking thing now.

Tonight I cooked two salmon fillets in the over. I cooked in my wok, baby sweetcorns, cherry tomatoes and spring onions. I then mixed in creme fraice, fresh dill, pesto and white wine and added the salmon. I served it with tagliatelle it was lovely

Yaaay good for you Mm - I think partly it's just realising that it doesn't have to be a big effort for it to taste really good :)

Also that once in a while a bit more effort makes the result worthwhile - but that may take a it longer ;) :)

Seconded. I would also like to say that recipes are only a guide. If you want to adapt them feel free to do so - it is what the classic chefs do.

Thirdly, I bet it took no time at all and would be way more healthy than any similar packet stuff.

Fourthly, welcome to the world of free cooking..... we'll get you onto extreme cooking in no time - wont we Di? ;) 8-)
