I do not know what your opinion is of this doctor, who was acquitted in less than 25 minutes and is still allowed to practice, accusing the media of hanging him out to dry following him carrying out the barbaric act of sewing the young woman's vagina back up "FGM" following her giving what was a difficult birth. I know what my opinion is following him referring to being brought to justice accusing the media and prosecution of creating " A show trial?" Had he no mind of his own ?
he stated he was influenced by another doctor. Disgusting! He should be along with the fellow who supposedly influenced him be "Struck Off". FGM is carried out here in UK females who went to Theresa Mays constituency to speak to her were refused admission. These people who carry out this barbaric act appear to be protected. I watched that documentary, Kate, when May found out the women were there she went in by the back door and refused to speak to them. I fired off an e-mail to my MP about that and was told May had a tight schedule. Well if that was the case how long would it have taken her to tell the women and arrange a meeting at a more convenient time? A lot less than taking a longer route to the back door I would think.

Frank, it is an outrage, the authorities and indeed all those who support this barbaric Act on youngsters, purely for the benefit of the males that they are forced to marry should be prosecuted. I remember we both wrote to Theresa May the last time this matter was br ought up. Remember when we met in Bmgham I bought a local newspaper in it it stated that number of youngsters were rushed to AE severely infected and I'll following being subjected to this unforgivable act on innocents all went very quiet following the revelation in the press.

There was a young black woman on our local news talking about the lack of action on FGM. She gave the impression that she and her other activists were banging their heads against a brick wall, but then they are unknown normal people.

I hate to say this, but it will probably take some sort of "Celebrity" input to get things moving - maybe a black singer, actress or model.

As long as it takes for 1M peaceful indigenous white British to carry out a peaceful march on #10 carrying placards stating "Racism works BOTH ways and BOTH are wrong!"

Then, perhaps, we can have a debate on immigrants behaving in a manner not fitting to be a UK citizen.

Granted there will be abuses, but those abuses can been uncovered and punished. But, honestly, today, the abuse from the other side is larger and of a much more serious nature.
