Two of our neighbours have had it since before Xmas and are both on antibiotics and when I saw the accountant this morning he said that he had had it also.

Mick and the girls are both ill with a cold at the moment. S was off school on Friday and didnt go to work on Saturday and L was feeling poorly yesterday and is home from school today. Mick started to feel ill on Friday and although he has gone to work today he still isn't right (although he has man flu, the girls have a cold). I am snuffly today and keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't turn into anything nasty.

Glad you are feeling better Kate.

I really hope you are not coming down with this virus, or the young ones. I have had it since January, never felt so ill, one good thing it makes one appreciate feeling, I really worry for the young ones. Stay well and as Frank said get a good stock of ginger tea, lemon, honey with a little black pepper. I really appreciate the loving welcome back.xxxxx

My attack of this chest infection that's going around lasted 5 or 6 weeks.
I found glycerin & honey and paracetamol helped a little, although the
latter pushed up my anti-coagulation readings considerably.

There's certainly been a lot of it about around here. Most unpleasant.

Glad you are recovering Aggers. We don't need these sort of bugs at any time, let alone at our age.get well every one who is under the weather.

Thank you for your loving comments. Praying that any of you or your loved ones suffering with this horrendous virus safely recovers .
This horrible virus is not a respector of age I am 81 thank heavens lucky enough on the mend after well over a month of feeling terribly I'll. but as we see on VV all ages are being struck by this virulent horrible bug, my great great grandchildren have been smitten by it takes an age to get rid of if we are lucky. Ginger tea. lemon honey and a little black pepper has been a lifesaver Loving vibes to all those who have themselves or members of the family are suffering with this nasty virus.
Zinc and vitamin C is also truly helpful.
