Watcha noshin tonight?

Postby debih » 18 Jan 2015, 16:46

We are having Hairy Dieters plate pie.

I actually made it on Friday but for a number of reasons we are having it tonght.

Everyone is turnng their nose up at it but they're having it!

The pastry is made from 80g flour, 40g butter and 200g mashed potato!

The inside does have som minced beef in it (200g) but is mainly veg and lentils.

We are having boiled potatoes, cabbage and beans with it. I've made them a chocolate cake. I am going to have a WW Bakewell slice (willpower willpower).

We shall see what it is like later!

That sounds like a tasty dish to me - and certainly a healthy one.

Tonight we had bacon sandwiches but for Sunday lunch I made a cottage pie which we had with peas, broccoli and Yorkshires followed by apple tart and custard.

I just remembered that there are some roasted parsnips in the freezer from Christmas - me and Joe could've had those. I'm making chicken pie in the week though so I'll have to remember them then.
