Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 02 Jan 2015, 07:50

Good morning. :D :D

Another gorgeous day here. 8-) 8-)

I am back to my running again after what can only be described as two weeks of feasting!

I'll just do the 6km today but it will half kill me!

No beers and tapas tonight - I'm being nice to my liver for a week.

And definitely catching up with all my TV recordings today.

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning Ally :) I'm sure you'll soon be back up to speed with the running 8-) I passed a lady jogger on my walk into town yesterday, and thought of you 8-) :D

Only two days now until B goes to Namibia, she needs a few more last minute bits and pieces so I'll go with her into town - I need the walk as I'm back on strict WW pointing ;)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning everybody.
Am slowly getting back to normal.
Windy and cloudy here. Drove down to get the paper. Not up to an early morning walk yet.
Having a lazy day.

Morning everyone

Lovely morning here and the sun really does show up the dust    so that's my job - for tomorrow, once the decs are down.

Need to go down to the village later for various bits and bobs - including our usual losing lotto ticket - and then we'll stop for a beer or two and people watch.

Think we'll start on our cut down food and booze from then. I've managed to not accept a dinner invitation from Bente for Sunday - so now I'll have to think of anyother excuse, next March, when she's back ;)

Only 2 days Kaz? Berlimey, that's whizzed past quickly.

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing xx

Good morning all, it's bright and sunny here and we'll be out with Billy shortly. Two loads of washing are blowing about on the line and I've taken the lights off the tree outside so they're all packed away in their little plastic box, hopefully John will take the hint and take down the icicle lights while it's still dry. I took the two trees down in the living rooms last night so all of the decorations are down that I put up, the boys still have their trees in their rooms though - what's the betting I post a moaning thread about them in June?

Oh! Kaz has taken the decorations down in here too

I fancy a mooch into town later, I just fancy getting out - might get some flowers for the living room because it looks a bit bare with the tree gone.

Have a good day all!

Morning all :D

We had a lovely time with Z and the boys. They all loved the film Penguins of Madagascar and afterwards we treated them to a milkshake at Ed's Diner before going back to their house. Z did a party tea, lots of picky bits and then we played cards which was great fun. The boys are getting really good and even Noah the youngest manages to join in with a little help. Finally settled down to watch the tv around 11ish, Adam Lambert and Queen followed by the fireworks at midnight. Amazingly all three boys managed to stay awake to see in the New Year, although Noah did promptly zonk out immediately after  Elijah was next, but Zachery who's 10 managed to stay up with us until about 1.30 and by then we'd all had it. It was a lovely way to see in the New Year 8-)

Yesterday morning we all woke up about 8, and then Z's husband M played chef and did us all a big fry up for brekkie. One of the pressies he and Z bought each other was a new coffee machine so we had a play with that too. Have to say E and I were totally pooped by the time we got back here and snoozed on and off for the rest of the day

No plans for today, E's just popped out for the papers and then we'll have brekkie and flop around for the rest of the day.

Hope you all have a good day :D
