Good Morning Monday

Postby tonicha » 29 Dec 2014, 07:29

Morning everyone

Up early, certainly not bright  . as the car is going off for it's mot this morning. But the sunrise is looking good, so hopefully another lovely day :D

I'll be doing not a lot again - this cold is certainly lingering - and as a friend dropped off a load of old newsppapers, I'll probably try and do some crosswords - although the brain cell feels a bit mushy at the moment

Hope you all have a good day, whatever you're doing and hope WM and Saundra are feeling better too xx

Morning all :)

Up at silly o'clock as I've a doctors appointment. I was supposed to be checking my BP 4 times a day (twice in the morning and then again at night) for the past week, but for various reasons, no batteries for the machine etc etc I've only been doing it for the past 3 days, oh and this morning of course. Fingers crossed he doesn't send me away for another week!!

Afterwards we'll pop to Westwood Cross for some shopping, really need fresh veggies and now we have a 'proper' fridge I can stock up for a few days.

Hope you all have a good day :)

Morning :)
Beautiful day here, ever so cold - had to break a thick layer of ice in Minnie's water bucket - but lovely and bright, blue and sunny :D

Our Christmases go sort of backwards, with 2 of us here Christmas day, 4 Boxing day and 6 the day after, then youngest only went back last night so today's the first on our own again :D
Fighting off a cold here too, haven't had one for about 3 years and certainly don't want one now
Enjoying a lazy start, there are things to do like showering and getting some washing done, but I don't suppose it matters what time it gets started ;)

Had a lovely dinner last night, I went to the little Tesco in town and first picked up a small cauliflower reduced to 30p, then a savoy for 8p, potatoes for 40p, and finally a small piece of rolled lamb shoulder for £2 :P
They had a carrot mountain, kilo bags for 5p, but we did still have some, so instead I got the stewpack which had just a few carrots plus onion, a swede and big parsnip for 30p - destined for soup :D
And I resisted all the reduced choccies in Waitrose too :P

Hope you all have a good day
Di

Good news Jen.

The car is back, passed no problem.

Morning all - well nearly noon rather.

I'm meant to be doing lots of cleaning and sorting out bits and bobs, but have spent the past 36 hours or so in bed with a horrid tummy bug and just don't have any energy. amazing just how much one can sleep. Hopefully I'm over the worst of it though but I'm taking it very easy today.

Excellent news re the BP Jen and well done on the car Ton - always a relief when they pass their MOT. Enjoy the time with the family Kaz
Di enjoy having the house to yourselves again. And Saundra glad you seem to be on the mend a bit; despite still being sniffy (although i do prefer spiffy  )

Hope you all stay well and keep those colds at bay

have a lovely day all x
