Morning Ally, have a great time away :D

Morning everyone, it looks very bright and cold here - no snow or frost so far, and I hope it stays away for a few days at least. My sister and BIL are coming tomorrow, and picking up Becky en route from her dad's, so I want the roads to be ok :?

Harry is here, he has a cough and Mick is starting with one so it looks like I spoke too soon about us being germ-free this Christmas   We need to pop to Morrisons for a few bits of fresh food, but otherwise it should be a quiet day :)

I hope all of the poorly people are feeling better, sending hugs (((((((x)))))))

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Good morning

We have had a very heavy frost here, but no snow. The sun has come out though.
I am having trouble working out what day it is - everything has got rather muddled up.
We will be having a leisurely day here. I hope everyone has a good day and also that
all those who are feeling unwell find some improvement.

Morning all, there was a heavy frost which seems to be taking its time defrosting, otherwise it looks nice out there. Should be good for the Fat Turkey walk, Miss Osc and my sister are doing, but there is no way I would have been able for it. Still not feeling great but I seem to get a bit better as the day goes on, yesterday we went for a short walk and then went to the electrical superstore to buy a washing machine, fridge freezer, dryer and microwave, got good value too so we were pleased with that. We will probably go for a walk later, there's a very nice park here, otherwise nothing planned for the day. Have a good day everyone :)

Morning - just - well, it is as I start typing anyway :)
Every time I sat down to come on here something else happened, then just as I thought I really could the phone rang and it was friend D, so half an hour later here I am :D
Lovely here, really cold and frosty but sunny, a perfect winter day :)

Yesterday was nice, both boys were here and Bb's mum came - his dad had had enough socialising by then ;)
It's all very well us not over-buying food, but everyone else thinks they can offload their extras onto us
A big box of Ferrero Rocher and a whole big pack of sausage rolls were in her bag, as well as more welcome cherry tomatoes and a cucumber
Compared to some years we got off lightly :D

Today I think I'll go into town, we need some milk so I'll see if there are any bargains about.
Youngest will be going home later so back to just the two of us for dinner, which has yet to be decided on 8-)
Hope all the poorlies aren't too bad, very glad to hear you're feeling better Saundra, and really pleased about the g/f too (((xx)))

afternoon all :)

Well I have completely lost track of the days as off work for the holidays, another week off :)

Today was going to be a lazy day, but might pop out, got Amy some clothes in the Next sale but she tried on some and they are too small - she took the tag off so hoping they accept the return - so think we will pop there, or maybe do that tomorrow and go for a walk today, not sure yet.

It is dry but looks freezing out and have put the heating on when we got up this morning.

Also thinking of taking the Christmas tree down, I like it down for New Year - to start fresh - and the living room is full of Amy's things so driving me slightly mad!

have a good day all
