Manky white - ours still looks brighter :P :P :P

But they had a team of three there for a week, so it probably cost them as if they had painted it in gold leaf

Best laid plans and all that!

We walked Billy. I got the gift vouchers. Went to Tesco and picked up my order. Yep, all going swimmingly. Called into my parents to drop off my sister's presents on the way to Asda to drop off the Amazon return and bang! Dad fell over on the ice earlier this morning and his wrist is very swollen and painful so John's taken him to A&E. I wish they'd flippin' well ring when they need something though. He'd been putting up with it for nearly 3 hours when we got there.

Oh blimey Jo, poor Dad - and yes it would have been much easier for you if they'd phoned so you could go earlier (((x)))

Fingers crossed Ton - and it won't half look a bargain compared to next door :D

I'm making fekkas - little spiced Moroccan biscuits - for our party :)
A Nesreen recipe from yonks ago, will post it if they're any good - the mix smelt gorgeous :)
The little logs are now in the freezer for an hour so they can be sliced thinly ;) :D

Di, they're terrible for it. Dad's 81 and Mom's 79 and they hate asking for help, they say they don't like putting on people...but we don't see it like that.

What's in those Di? I hope they work out, just the description - "little spiced Moroccan biscuits" - is making my mouth water!

They're flavoured with garlic, salt & pepper, and Za'atar (bought specially from Waitrose, they take a whole 2 tablespoons so it's worth it!) :D
