I did that too! There were two X Box One games that Joe wanted so I looked on Tesco's site so that I could go through Quidco. They had them and both came to £90, and they had an offer on pre-orders (and both were) so that knocked £5 off. That brought it down to £85. When I went to the checkout page my vouchers had been boosted to £83 so I paid £2 for two games. And got just over £1 back from Quidco.
But it doesn't end there. The price that the games were advertised at pre-release, ie the price I paid when I ordered them, was more than they went on sale for when they became available so they then credited my bank account with £8, £4 per game

John had a parcel delivered to him at work today, from Amazon. Joe's watch was one of the items in it. I opened it up and there was a white Amazon stock sticker on the watch box stating that it was the model number I'd ordered. I opened the box and the watch is nothing like the one I wanted. I ordered a large chunky G Shock and the watch they've sent is a silver 1980s style digital so I've got to go through the palava of sending that back by packaging it up and taking it to Asda a few miles away where they have the Collect+ desk. Hopefully the replacement will be the right one.

Went shopping tonight. I'd placed an order with Tesco for some jeans, they do next day delivery for store collection so I ordered them late on Tuesday knowing that they'd be at the store when I went shopping tonight. The email came to say they were ready for collection. I queued up to collect them, they have to go into the store's warehouse to collect orders so the woman on customer services said to do my shopping and come back and it'd be there waiting. Came back after finishing my shopping and there was no order. Apparently there's been a delay on clothes orders so could I try again tomorrow or Saturday.

I can say goodbye to at least an hour now at the weekend.

I didn't tell you about Argos last Saturday either! I'd ordered a new dog bed for Billy from an Ebay seller and had selected to have it delivered to my local Argos. It was due in on the Thursday but I didn't receive an email saying it was there so popped in on the Friday on the off chance but it was apparently 'in transit'. I went back on Saturday and it had arrived, but I'd still not received an email to let me know, and without a code from that email they refused to let me have my item, which I'd paid the Ebay seller for. I was in there for 25 minutes and eventually the assistant got through to Ebay but they wouldn't give her the code and needed to speak to me, but it was impossible to hear them because of the constant in store announcements (Order number 123 please go to your collection point) plus it was a bad line and then the call got cut off. The assistant started to call back and made the error of putting my parcel down on the counter while she dialled. BIG mistake. I picked it up and walked out.

Brill on Tesco Jo, b*gger on amazon :(
The only good thing is, their customer services are pretty good, so hopefully will be sorted out pdq :x

Btw, I do really, really wish amazon, Tesco, etc, would realise lots of us share Pcs and they send emails with the item you've ordered in the subject line
I've had to tell Bb lots of times not to look at the email a/c, then think it's all clear (I send them all to 'saved emails'), and they send more!
