My local club, Wigan have just been relagated as they have been deducted 12 popints as they are in administration.
They were half way up the table so not near the relegatio zone.
Many years since I went to watch a football match.

Wigan are "Doing a Leeds" they broke the rules and have had points deducted, it's in the rules. Hard lines. But so have Sheff Weds and their points will not be deducted till next year.Why? It is only because the inquiry has taken so long, but so what? Once the inquiry has finished the punishment, if any, should be immediate - that would make Charlton safe. Or would it? They are also under investigation regarding ownership. If all the legal shenanigans work out then Hull, who finished bottom, could still stay up. The whole thing is a farce.
