The coats (an update)

We went to Stamford today and I tried this coat on

I really liked it but it was full price and I thought wonder if could get it cheaper online, plus I wasn't 100% sure about the colour

Can't find that one online but found this one, can anyone see anything different, apart from the colour, which I actually prefer

The original price was £60 not £80 so I wonder if it is older stock?

In what way Rodo? The material and specification reads exactly the same, that is what's confusing me

I agree with Rodo - the top one looks more expensive and cosier, the bottom one looks thin and 'cheaper'....does that make sense?

It says you can tie it at the waist which would make it look more fitted if you are worried about that

I tried the brown one on, with the waist pulled in and like that, but it is shapeless loose. The cuffs are the same too, you can wear them down like on the brown one or turned back like on the other one. The material specifications are exactly the same. Think will have to order it and see

comparing that, it has to be the same coat doesn't it? I really don't want to pay two lots of postage if I can help it

It might just be the photo; the second one does look cheaper, whereas as soon as I saw the first one I though 'ooh yes please'!

Maybe the photo just doesn't sell it as well, I think it's worth ordering it to see as well

I can see exactly what you mean, which is why it is confusing me

Blacks and Milletts are the same shop now, so as we have a Blacks down the road I might pop down and see what they have in store

The first one is much nicer The colour is better - the fabric looks better, the styling is sleeker, and the stitching looks nicer. The positioning of the pocket in the second one and the gathered waist aren't flattering. I know you are very slim Shell but even so..................
