men's hats

*sigh*... Mr Loz has very little hair left (bless) and I do understand that he has to protect his bonce from wind, hail, rain, snow, lightening strikes and bird poo. Unfortunately, the caps that once made him look dashing in his youth now just make him look like his dad! :o So ladies...yes I am asking the ladies...what sort of hat could the chilly headed Mr Loz get away with without looking like a berk or an old man? Thank you :D

T wears a pull on woolly hat, like a beanie, when he goes to help at the farm or walk our dogs :) He bought a flat cap for this purpose - mistake. Flat cap + greyhounds = archetypal Northern bloke

My OH wears one of these.
He is nearly 80 but looks good in it and it is rainproof :D :D

Mick has a panama for the summer, a rather nice straw one I bought him from M&S, and for winter a Homburg in black felt. They suit him ;)

Mr Osc's summer hat looks rather like Mick's. For walking or playing golf in the winter he wears a woolly or fleecy pull on one. Some years ago he bought a rather dashing man's hat, rather like the summer hat but black - however he hasn't worn it for a while (actually now I'm trying in which of our many many boxes it is packed  )

Love Mick's hat. :D :D

Don has a similar one to protect his pate from the sun.

He also has a fun camouflage one that I love on him.

But he has a tweed cap thing that I detest.

I actually put it in the bin once, he found it took it out and washed it!

He wears it to wind me up even though I say he looks like some old nerd from Last of the Summer Wine.

   Oh I am LOLing here at Don 8-)

Mick wanted to buy a bowler once   I told him it made him look like a p*key though (apologies for the nasty word  I know it isn't very PC) and he put it back  ;) It really did make him look like he should be selling horses at a fair

Bill used to wear a lovely check trilby it really suited him
And a really horrible pull on one on his bike
He looked 90 in that
So my guess is go for a trendy trilby
Love M summer hat tho really suits him
