Has anyone used Nature's Grey Busters?
http://www.naturesgreybusters.co.uk/
I have decided to give them a go and have ordered the medium brown.
I normally use L'Oreal and have never had a reaction to hair colour in the past, but I am getting more and more wary as the years go by.

I used one recently that didnt have ammonia in it. It was ok, but only semi permanent, the same as that one, so didnt last long enough for me :(

No I haven't tried them, I use Perfect 10, but you should always do a skin test 48 hours before colouring ;) xx

Sorry Shell, that's a bit daft ( wags finger at Shell).
I always do a patch test, but because I am so grey now I have to colour it frequently and I know there is always a chance of a reaction even if you have never had one before.
I know it will not be as good as the one I usually use, but I'll give it a go and see how it turns out.

I also do one every time even though I've used the same one now for ages, as you say allergy can kick in any time, and the thing with allergy to hair dye is that it's very extreme and can be life threatening. I've heard of several deaths, and have seen many articles in magazines of people with swollen heads and hair loss :( No reputable hair salon will dye without doing one these days, even Supercuts did one for B when she went for colouring........I'm glad you do it Loz :)

I know many don't bother, but with my food allergies and the skin issues (eczema and dermatitis and now possibly psoriasis) I would be stupid not to ;)

Let us know how you get on with the new colour Loz, ammonia free is much nicer for the condition :)

I am sure I should, but I still won't because it won't enter my head. I am quite anti-allergenic so hopefully will continue to be fine.

Must admit I've never done a test either, come to that no salon has ever done one on me either :?

Will have to start looking for a new hairdresser now we've moved, will be interesting to see what happens.
