I thought I was pleased with what I got, but no...
The t-shirt is really nice, blue & white stripes, a good neckline - almost slash. But I forgot to check the label and assumed it was just a cotton t-shirt.
As I tried it on I thought, why on earth are the sleeves so tight? I got it on, it looked awful, all tight and clingy which for the style is completely wrong. It's got elastane and something else in as well - apart from anything else it would be too hot, but anyway looks dreadful :( It wasn't the wrong size, it's obviously meant to be like that :?

The vests. I think the M&S ones were £10 for 2, and these were a Gok 3-pack for £20 but 25% off so the same, a fiver each, and sensible colours, black, white & beige. Shaper vest? - I felt like a sausage being stuffed into a too-small skin :o  No way would I wear them, I can't stand being so damned uncomfortable :(

The good news is that I really like the jersey shirt; it's dusty rose, flowered, with little tabs on 3/4 sleeves :)
Goodness knows when I'll get back there to return them

You see if you order online, you just stick them in the porch and someone picks them up for you or you pop them to the post office

No Tu isn't online :) ;)

Di I bought a Gok dress last winter which had one of those built in shaping slip thingies.......It squashed my boobs right down and made me a very peculiar shape  In the end I removed it and wear a little same colour vest under it instead. To say Gok is supposed to design for women with curves, he's very fond of trying to squash them, as a lot of his stuff has very very tight shaping stuff underneath........ :?

Glad you like the shirt, it sounds pretty :)

Not 100% sure of Sainsbury's returns policy, but in general in retail it is 28 days............

Just been looking to see if there's a branch that does clothing anywhere near the hospital, but not really. I shall try to get there over the weekend.

But while on the site, found the shirt :)

I noticed it because it's a similar idea to one I tried on in White Stuff, which was lovely but far too expensive...off to find it>>>>>
this one

Yes, lovely but pricey for a shirt :? The Tu one is similar, and a great buy I think :)

I really like both of those tops Di. :D

They would be ideal for me for work. :D

I'm having to think what to wear as so far this has happened:

First day at work I wore white skinny jeans..they got filthy.

Second day I wore a white Joe Orton t shirt..and spent half the time trying to explain to inquisitive children who Joe Orton was.

On Thursday I wore a scooped necked t shirt..then realised I was revealing rather more than necessary when bending over to correct work.
