Hair advice

Postby Ally » 13 Apr 2013, 09:24

I'm thinking of getting a new hair style. :?

I really fancy a boyish cut..something like what a young Mia Farrow had (ish ifswim)

But maybe chopped into a bit more.

What do you think..and more to the point wondering if I'll suit it? :? :?

I have short hair anyway but fancy something fun and funky for summer.

Any of these similar Ally?? Some lovely pics:
Here

How is it now, is it still like your avatar?
I know I've seen a site where you can upload your own picture and overlay a haircut, but no idea what it's called now...it might have been one of those side ads on facebook? I think Garnier does it for hairclour :?

Oh thanks Di.

I really like the haircut 6 rows down and 3 in. :D :D

My hair grows so flamin quickly that to keep it really short and spiky I'd have to get it cut every 3 weeks.

Once it gets past a certain stage the spikes just don't sit right..so I'm thinking a boyish cut would be easier to maintain.

Short hair really suits you Ally, so I'm sure a more elfin crop would! That site is a good idea 8-)

I daren't go much shorter really, I had very short hair aged 11/12 and it looked awful. I looked like a chubby little boy :? You've got the bone structure for it - I haven't

I really like the first one, but sadly I don't have a hairdresser capable of doing that, long story.

I think short hair suits you too, but the one you like isn't like I imagined you meant from your description. I thought you were talking more like 2nd row 6 along

Snap! I think short hair seems so easy to maintain and keep looking good, but I am another with a chubby face and no chin so I need a bit of length to make me look feminine

Hope you find a style you like Ally :)

Thanks Gal. :)

I often wonder how the Spanish girls can bear to have their hair so long in the heat.

It would do my head in so I'm glad I have short hair.
