Nooooo I am looking for silver wedges - I need height as the dress is a bit long, but can't have normal heels as the wedding is on the beach

I am scouring both ebay and Amazon as I couldn't see anything suitable in town..........

These are the nearest I've seen so far to what I have in mind, but I'll keep looking.................

Hmmm, maybe not the best for the beach.
Could you not take or have the dress taken up a bit and wear pretty flipflops, or flat sandals?
Taking it up would give you more options, and I bet you take the shoes off anyway - in which case you don't want to be tripping over it ;) :)

Not the easiest of materials to take up Di, it's very floaty, but it's a thought ;)

Local newspaper/google/yell will have local dressmaker, there's always someone who does alterations and usually pretty cheap :)

I think A Rose (professional d/maker in her day) will be coming to stay some time before Easter, I'll ask her if I decide to go the flatty route :) ;)

My own personal opinion of course - but I'd definitely wear wedges with that dress Kaz.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pics when you're all dolled up in it - I bet you'll look fab! :D :D

There might be more choice in the shops in the coming weeks Kaz, they're all getting the new season ranges in now.

Thanks Ally, I probably will end up with wedges as I don't really want to alter the dress :) There will be many pics no doubt of the wedding and I will post some ;) :D

Jo I reckon so too, but was kind of hoping for a 'last season' bargain in the sales that are on at the moment, as I don't want to spend a lot on silver shoes that I will probably not wear very often ;) The bag yesterday was a bargain, down from £20 to £7.99 and the bracelet and silver earrings were half price too ;)
