I'm with Di, I hate having nail varnish on my fingers, but its on my toes all Summer.

I am thinking of having Shellac toe nails this year

Debih your nails are beautiful. That's exactly the way I like mine, short and dark and your hands look like mine because your rings are the same or similar to mine. The only difference is that your hands are 30 years younger!

I have the Sensationails kit from Boots which includes the little lamp for curing the gel polish, but when I was going on holiday a couple of weeks ago I went and had them done professionally. When I do them myself they last three weeks, but the professional gel looks like lasting for four weeks. The drawback is that they start to grow and show a gap at the cuticles.

Thanks Paddy.

I'm loving having my nails done. I'm going every three weeks and am now on my fourth polish. I had a lighter colour once but wasn't that keen. This time I've got a sort of grey brown colour.

The polish could last longer than three weeks but really I could do with having them done every two weeks as my nails grow so fast.

I might look at getting the kit to do them myself.

That sounds nice Kaz :)
But what you people miss out on is that when you're on holiday abroad your nails look fantastic, just as they are :D
If I remember I'll take a photo :)

I mean the nails look extra pink, but mostly the tops/white bits are ultra white, they just always look at pretty on holiday :)

Ah I getcha, except mine never grow beyond the top of the pink without splitting   I'd like to be able to grow my own to a decent length but never mind :)

I am rubbish at filing my own nails.

I don't like the feel of the emery board in my hands!

Doesn't bother me someone else doing it though.
