I've seen C&A in Malaga and I'm sure in other places on the Costa but never went in because I associated it with the tricel twinsets that my mother used to buy me. In those days (the late 50s to mid 60s) we teenagers dressed like our mothers and then the Swinging Sixties arrived and gave us our own styles. Not that the Swinging Sixties ever arrived in Northern Ireland, at least not until the 70s! Next time I see a C&A I'll be having a look.

Paddy - whenever you see a Carre Four there will be a C&A in the same place. :D

I've picked up some really nice bits from there - the boys like their jeans and tees too. :D

C/A used to be brilliant
used to go to nottingham in my teens to buy there
then they went all over the uk
its a shame they ever left
