Eyebrows

I had my eyebrows done with semi-permanent makeup yesterday (tattoo under a more aesthetic and more expensive name). It's the second time; the first ones lasted nearly 5 years so that was good.

Oh that's interesting - I fill mine in with a brush and brown shadow as they never really recovered from the terrible over-plucking of the 1970s

I am very blonde and pale, so have to be careful not to overdo it, but without some sort of filling in you can't see I actually have brows

I don't just look as if I have none, I really do have none. Overplucking and age I suppose. It's a choice between the pencilled in line which rubs off and this.

I have some, but a very thin line - the 70's have lot to answer for

I have really long eyebrows!!

Count yourself lucky in one way Ally. At least you can trim them if necessary. Mine are completely non-existent.

I brush them into place with an old dry toothbrush.

I always had really dark thick eyebrows and my mum was against plucking them...I ignored her I had to pluck the middle bit or I would have had a mono-brow Now my eyebrows are going grey, so I might look into dying them at some point.

I bought a new brow kit yesterday as the brown shadow I'd been using ran out The colours and brush in it are great, but it also came with a clear gel 'brow mascara' My poor sparse little brows don't need that, so I gave the gel to B - who has beautiful eyebrows as she has never over-plucked

Kaz - I have some clear mascara that I whizz on if I cba to wear mascara.

Is that the same as brow gel and could I just use it my my Denis's?
