Tailored shorts

I know it's almost the end of shorts wearing time, but when we were on holiday last year I wasn't able to find any nice tailored shorts suitable for a lady of my years. We "weren't" going on holiday this year but now we are, so I realised I still didn't have a nice pair. Then I had a thought - went to the local golf shop and of course, they would have nice shorts if you can get a pair that don't look too "golfy". So I got these in the sale, they fit really well, look neat and smart and best of all, they were half price They didn't have much of a selection left at this stage of such a fine summer, but I would imagine that early in the season there would be a good selection of plain colours as well.

Since losing so much weight (and having a hotter than normal summer here!) I've been wearing my crop denim shorts too - only at home though, I don't really think they'd be deemed suitable for work!

I lived in my cropped denims and cropped linen trousers on holiday as I don't have the legs for shorts, but you certainly do
