Strictly judging dress

This Sunday is the day when I will be a judge at a Strictly charity event, and I had planned to wear my black and gold dress. Tried it on yesterday and it looked a bit meh, my tan is not "even" enough to look good with the spaghetti straps. I was going to TKMaxx anyway, so thought I would look at the dresses, not really expecting to see anything. However I came home with this dress in purple and I love it! Mr Osc loves it too, thinks it will be just perfect for the occasion. I have a pair of pewter sandals and bought a pair of fancy earrings (brilliant sales everywhere, 70% off) as with the glittery bit on the shoulder, I won't wear a necklace. For €39.99, I think I got a bargain and I feel great in it, which will be a boost for my confidence on Sunday, as I'm a bit nervous. (No Di, I don't always buy a dress )
