Steak

Postby tonicha » 24 May 2015, 19:19

It's not often I buy steak here, this is only the second time, as it's normally complete rubbish   They have odd cuts here but I bought some in Lidl's earlier in the week. T'was about half an inch thick :D :D :D

So we had pan fried lumps of beef, garlic mushrooms, peas, onion rings and chips.

And it was gert lush :D :D :D :D :D

Grumpy can't eat meat that is too chewy - well, with only 7 teef     - so he tends to avoid it 8-) but he enjoyed this meal tonight.

And the Vienetta is called Laminada here and that was lovely too.

I am not a big fan of peas either, so I'll have a double portion of mushrooms with mine, please.

I'd have half of one of those lovely big tomatoes too, grilled - with or without the peas :D

I really dislike grilled tomatoes - not really a lover of them at all - but I will eat them because I should.

Apart from the pips, which can upset Gladys, but what the heck - I eat curry, she moans and grumpbles, but I enjoy it. The curry that is 8-)

Don't get me started on wine, garlic and mushrooms though

You wouldn't think that such a small little opening can make such a noise :o :o :o
