Sometimes it just goes right

We were going to have a bought pizza that was lurking in the freezer, which I'm sure would have been very nice.
However, today in Tesco Bb spotted a bunch of asparagus reduced to 86p :D

I also had a bag of these lovely little sweet peppers (each about 2" long), which I'd used before for this Waitrose recipe
here
That recipe's for a main course, using full-sized peppers btw ;)

Anyways. I decided on a River Café risotto recipe, for risotto primavera, which used asparagus, courgette, green beans and peas, but did it with just asparagus and courgette, and did rather less than 1/3 of the recipe..
And did 3 of the little peppers as per the W/rose recipe.

And - how lucky could we get? - last week I got a black olive loaf reduced to 15p in Tesco :D
It was all absolutely gorgeous :D

Ps - That W/rose recipe is wrong, and it held me up while I scratched my head wondering if I was being stupid
It definitely says 6 peppers, halved, and 6 tomatoes, halved - and then says put 2 tomato halves in each pepper half :? :P

Oh does she Loz I'll have to search it out - that W/rose one uses a whole jar of pesto, which would be waaay too much - but it's probably a recipe by Sacla ;)
